Kofi Kinaata is one of the many people who is hoping for the comeback of ‘missing’ artiste Castro De Destroyer.

The latter drowned alongside his girlfriend, Janet Bandu, after a skiing accident on July 6, 2014 at Ada in the Greater Accra Region while on holiday with the Gyan brothers.

The promising artist, and a member of High Grade Family, said Castro has left a big vacuum which cannot be filled by any artiste from the Western Region.

“Castro’s spot isn’t for kids…. I can’t fill Castro’s spot, never. I’m just doing my part but filling Castro spot? Eih”.

When asked by host, Kojo Preko Dankwa on why he stopped his hardcore raps and now turned himself into more of a singer, he said:

“Well, I’m just exploring other areas. It’s just like footballer trying to play in at least 2 positions, so i also want to be good at least in all the areas as far as music is concerned. The talent is there, and it’s not that I’ve quit rap, no, I still rap but I felt like exploring other areas.”

Kinaata was born Martin King Arthur. He is a Ghanaian musician and songwriter and popularly known for his Fanti rap and freestyle and therefore known as the Fante Rap God.
