Lynx Entertainment act MzVee has revealed that she come from a poor family.
The Abofra singer who released her second album Verified last week said this while talking about how to end extreme poverty in Ghana as an ambassador for the World Bank’s End Extreme Poverty campaign.
The event organized by TEDxAccra took place at the World Bank office at Ridge in Accra.
“I grew up from poor background. I remember when I was young; my family of six were all staying in one bedroom in someone else’s house.
“But I’m glad my mom learnt catering which I will say helped my parent get out of extreme poverty. Now she has three restaurants and over 100 employees,” she said.
