Well known for hit songs like Shashee Wowo, Prepaid Girl, Yenko Nkoaa and a host of others, Stay Jay has over the years been tagged as one musician who attacks ladies with his songs.

Speaking exclusively to Flex newspaper, the Hiplife artiste who is about to release a new street banger titled Gbohe, featuring Luther, rebutted the assertion that, he lyrically lambastes women.

“I don’t attack ladies. I rather correct indecent girls with my songs. Of late there are so many girls going promiscuous on social media and in our societies as a whole. If they are not checked, advised or shamed, they are likely to mar the few chaste ones left. I therefore reveal certain unscrupulous lifestyles of such girls in my songs and then sing or rap against it,” Stay Jay intimated.

The My Baby rapper further added that, his other songs like Twame La La, Sue, Woto Mpo Ni, Se Aba and the likes, are a clear indication that he does not really dwell on criticizing ladies all the time.

According to Stay Jay, so far as his songs are still been played and rotated on several radio stations, he will not agree with anyone who thinks he has been missing in action for quite a while now.

“The last time I released a single was late last year. I’m currently working on my 2nd and 3rd albums, as well as other private businesses I run. First week in July, I’d be dropping my new single called Gbohe. Gbohe is a controversial song which talks about girls who give their bodies cheaply to men for material gains. I featured Luther because Gbohe is a Ga term and he musically has a hold of most Ga areas,” the ‘African Star Boy’ disclosed.

Featuring on his forthcoming album, he revealed, are renowned musicians like Sarkodie, Fuse ODG, Kwaw Kesse, Okyeame Kwame, EL, Yaa Pono, D Cryme and Mr Eze, to name but a few. Kaywa, KB, Mix Masta Garzy, Jerry Beats, Possible and co also took care of the production.
