Ghanaian playwright, James Ebo Whyte popularly known as Uncle Ebo Whyte has for the first time explained why he cut short a promising boxing career to sell ‘weed’.
The playwright made the shocking revelation in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.
According to Uncle Ebo Whyte, although outrageous, he had no option than to sell ‘weed’ at that young age.
“I had a promising boxing career and I retired at the age of 14…
I was actually the sales agent of the main guy who happens to be my senior half-brother. I became, by default, his sales assistant. The only problem is that we didn’t make money because he was our biggest customer so we didn’t get money. He got high on his own supply…” he told Andy.
