Entertainment pundit and media personality Ola Michael has reacted to veteran film producer Socrate Safo's claims of neglect by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In an interview with Peace FM, Socrate Safo had expressed frustration over not being recognised for his contributions to the party, despite his strong support and campaigning efforts.
Ola Michael, however, in a studio discussion on Neat FM challenged Socrate Safo's statements, asserting that he has indeed benefited from his association with the NPP.
Pointing out some positions that Socrate Safo currently holds, Ola Michael asserted that the movie producer has received significant recognition and opportunities.
“He can’t say he hasn't benefitted. I double-dare him to come and say he isn't ok.
“He has gotten positions under the NPP and at the National Commission on Culture and National Film Authority, and he even has a position with the body that handles the Beyond the Return programme,” he said.
He suggested that Safo might have been speaking on behalf of others who feel neglected.
“Socrate doesn't have anything to say, He’s not going through anything, he’s ok. Maybe he was speaking for some people who haven't benefitted from the NPP,” he said.
