I didn’t think I would be accepted easily – Fantana

Newest Rufftown Records signee, Fantana, has confessed that she did not think she would be accepted by Ghanaians this easily.

In an interview with guest host, Eddy Blay on e.TV Ghana’s special edition of the Late Nite Celebrity Show, she commented that Ghana has given her quite a warm welcome into the music industry and she is shocked by how fast and easily she has been accepted.

‘’I was a bit shocked about the way I was accepted because I didn’t think I would be accepted easily but I was, so I am happy for that’’, she stated.

Fantana furthered that although her music career seems to have a good start, to her, being in the Ghanaian music industry as a woman is more at a disadvantage because people barely pay attention to the women, hence women have to work extra hard to gain recognition.
