Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, the founder and leader of Life Assembly Worship Centre, has dismissed the concepts of heaven and hell as fraudulent.

Osofo Kyiri Abosom who doubles as the leader of the founder and flagbearer of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM) made these remarks during an appearance on the Oyerepa TV on July 26, 2024.

"I don’t believe in heaven; I don’t believe in hell. There’s nothing like that. It’s a big scam," Osofo Kyiri Abosom said.

He argued that the belief in heaven and hell is an illusion, urging Ghanaians to concentrate on the tangible task of national development rather than waiting for a promised paradise.

"Heaven is on the earth, so if we don’t develop our country, we’ll sit down and waste our time," he emphasized.

Osofo Kyiri Abosom further challenged the authenticity of religious teachings about the afterlife, asserting, "Whatever the pastors will tell you is a lie. If one dies, he is dead forever and nothing else."
