The Bible tells us God created the world in six days and on the seventh day he rested and kept that day holy.
As a result of this, Ghanaians in general or specifically we as Christians, work from Monday to Friday, if possible Saturday, but on Sunday, we rest and keep it holy by going to church to fellowship and listen to the word of God, and later spend the rest of the day with family.
However, Co-host of the Celebrity Fanzone Akosua Hanson disclosed on the “Keeping It Real With Joselyn Dumas” TV show that she does not see the reason to go to church on Sunday.
She further indicated she’s not a Christian and her Sundays are spent on writing, reading, going to the beach and exploring herself.
According to her, reading, writing and exploring herself on Sundays is her way of praying and meditating, and it allows her to get her spirituality.
“The beach is dope Sunday morning. However, I spend of my Sundays on reading and writing.”
“Growing up, it was exactly like that because my parents will say go to church but they were also liberal with your religion.”
“But when I became an adult, and I was no longer Christian. It became a thing,” Akosua Hanson said.
