Popular Ghanaian musician Pope Skinny says he has never supported the idea of a Ghanaian coach for the Black Stars.

On the Xpress Breakfast Show with Kwaku David, Ghanaian artiste and radio presenter Pope Skinny took his turn and said he had never supported a Ghanaian coach for the Black Stars because he could be easily influenced by people of higher power and authority.

On the issue of the exit of the Black Stars from the tournament, he thinks the management was not clear on issues concerning the players and attempts to get clarification has turned out to be appalling.

He also said the decision by the Black Stars management board was harsh and should have considered the impact of the expulsion of the two Black Stars players (Sulley Muntari and Kelvin Prince Boateng).

He emphasized that the incident had a negative psychological effect on the remaining players. Pope Skinny is therefore suggesting a reshuffle of the entire Black Stars management board.

The “Hot Cake” singer is working on collaborations with Danny Beat on a song called “Adam and Eve”.

He is also planning to release a re-fix on Shatta Wale’s “Homeland”.
