'I don't want to die' - Popular cinematographer TG Omori cries out after failed kidney transplant

Popular Nigerian music director cum cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has revealed that he had a failed kidney transplant.

This comes a few hours after the ace cinematographer revealed that his only brother donated one of his kidneys to him.

TG Omori made this known on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, while opening up on his health challenges and calling on sympathizers to keep praying for him.

He wrote, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St Nicolas Hospital Lagos. Pray for me. I don't want to die.”

The cinematographer also noted that he had gone into the theatre three times already.

According to him, the kidney transplant took place on Monday, August 26, 2024.

He revealed that his kidney got damaged last year.

TG Omori has worked with several Ghanaian musicians including the likes of Shatta Wale, Black Sherif, and Camidoh.
