Multiple Award-Winning actor, Edward Agyekum Kufuor has revealed that he earned his first movie role through merit and not because his father is a former president.
In an interview on ATUU with Abieku Santana, the actor who doubles as a reverend minister noted that he went through an audition like any other actor for his first role.
"On set, Shirley gave me a script and took me through auditions. I didn’t demand special treatment because I am the son of a president. Funny enough I was given the role of vice president and I delivered as expected," he said.
He added that movie producer, Shirley Frimpong-Manso has been a tremendous help in his acting career.
According to him, "She knows how to extract what she wants from an actor, and this also helps you on how to conduct yourself on set and deliver your best."
Edward Agyekum Kufuor is a multi-award-winning actor who has featured in several movies such as "When Love Comes Around", "Blurred Lines", "Wrong Target" and many others.
He is also currently an executive member of the Governing Council of the Asian-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI).
