I gave Rashida Black Beauty GHS400 for shooting just a scene – Kofi Asamoah

Renowned Ghanaian movie producer Kofi Asamoah has reacted to claims by social media star, Rashida Black Beauty that she did not earn anything from shooting Nokofia TV series.

The ‘John and John’ producer reacting to the allegation on Zylofon FM disclosed that there is no iota of truth in her assertion. Kofas, as he is popularly known, told Arnold Mensah, sit in host of the Thursday morning show that he paid Rashida Gh300 for shooting just a scene and also gave her then manager, Mr. Awesome Gh100 for transportation making a total of Gh400.

According to him, Rashida was not originally part of the Nokofio series. On how he agreed to feature her in the series, Kofas narrated that Mr. Awesome, her then the manager called for a meeting so he asked them to meet him on set where the lady begged to appear in the series.

Kofas further stated that he agreed to shoot a scene with the Brekum-based star but never added it to the series. He said the one scene he shot with Rashida was used for promotion so he cannot fathom why the lady would say he did not pay her for featuring in the Nokofio series even after giving her Gh400.

Mr. Awesome, former manager of the young girl confirmed that Kofi Asamoah dashed her money after she shot the scene.
