Ghanaian stars will go all lengths and say all manner of stuff just to sell their brands, movies and whatever project they are involved, disregarding the kind of ramifications that come with such talk.

Boasting about possession or how much money one has or earns is not new to the industry and Ghanaian actor /comic, Bismark Odoi may just be following the trend.

The actor, who’s currently spending most of his working time in the United Kingdom, has revealed to Razz Newspaper that, he’s making more money in the United Kingdom than he ever did in Ghana.

In an interview, he made it known that he was paid 20,000Euros for the first movie he shot in the United kingdom titled “The Last Word” more than most of the movies he featured in Ghana, All combined.

Giving more details about how he landed the role and the payment, he said that, he never knew Abbeam Production from anywhere, although he has heard the name before, he had a call from the production house that, they wanted to work with him, so they negotiated the payment and arrangement was made for the payment of the money.

To him he’s not really worried about the kind of fees he receives in Ghana because; it is the same industry which paved way for him to get to where he is now.

“We started acting in Ghana without earning any amount, and it got to a point we started earning few coins and now by his grace, we are at our peak, that’s life so I give thanks to God” He said.

Speaking about why he now spends most of his time in the United Kingdom, he stated that, he has a working relationship with Abbeam Production, which is a UK movie production house owned by a Ghanaian.

“We shot two movies titled, “the Last Word” and "Bismark the Joke” and so since we are premiering The Last Word here in UK, the C.E.O invited me to come over," He added.
