Ghanaian actor and a comedian Kojo Nkansah known in the entertainment circles as DJ Lilwin, has revealed how he had the name ‘Lilwin’ which has gained him more fans in Ghana and beyond.
He explained that he has never been a DJ in reality but gained the name after featuring as a DJ at the witch camp in one of his movies. Kojo Nkansah made this known in an interview with Feeling Daddy on the Penpenaa Show on Spice 91.9FM in Takoradi.
“I acted a movie titled “Mennko M’ebusua” where I played the role as a DJ for the witches and wizards. I was the person to play music and dance to welcome the witches to have the meeting”, he added.
According to him, the name Lilwin was influenced by his admiration for American rapper Lil Wayne thereby resulting in the name “DJ Lilwin” and has become a popular name in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
The comedian added that throughout his movie carrier, he has starred in more than 600 movies.
“To be honest, every movie I stare in, I keep a copy in my room. I’m telling you that the ones on the market are more than 600, excluding the ones which are not out yet. Every Monday I release a movie”, he verified.
