Kumawood Actor, Wayoosi has said he never wanted to become an actor while growing up because he didn’t want to become a pauper like some actors he grew up knowing and seeing.

According to him, he had the love for doing music and wanted to become a music star so he could make enough money and enjoy a life of luxury.

Speaking on Celebrity Ride with ZionFelix, he said “I started performing with Lord Kenya when he was a big star. So I was discovered by one producer who thought I could act very well. I, however, told him that the actors I have seen around are poor and I don’t want to end up like them.

“But he told me that those in the day of old are different and things will work out for my good. I accepted to act and things worked out such that Master Richard added me to his Dada Boat show and the rest is history.”

He indicated that he never regrets agreeing to go into acting because all that he has achieved in his life has been achieved through acting.

He disclosed that through acting, he has two vehicles, was denied easy access to America and has also been able to build a house where he and his family reside.
