Entertainment pundit Nana Frimpong Ziega has disclosed that he has a book containing the names of both government and non-government officials involved in illegal mining (galamsey) in Ghana.
Speaking in a discussion on United Showbiz, Nana Frimpong mentioned that the individuals listed include military officers, politicians, reverend ministers, and district chief executives (DCEs).
"I have a book that includes the names of everyone involved in galamsey. I know their sites, the people in charge of those sites, and even the military officers, MPs, former police commanders, and DCEs who are involved," he stated in Twi.
He added, "There is an NDC executive involved in this galamsey activity, and when the NPP came into power, he fought the NPP executive for a portion of the land to operate, and he was granted it."
The issue of illegal mining is currently a major concern in the country, with numerous netizens condemning it.
Many individuals have called on various platforms for the president to take proactive measures to address the menace.
Several protesters who took to the streets to voice their opposition have been arrested and arraigned in court for perpetrating violence during the demonstrations.
