Nana Yaa
Having a family of her own has always been the wish of songstress Nana Yaa Thomas.
She was looking forward to starting a family with her then boyfriend of seven years, unfortunately, it didn’t work out for her.
That experience inspired the writing of her new song ego be.
“I have always wanted to have a family, having one was something I couldn’t wait to have. I love to be there for others, I love to have something and call it my own,” she told livefmghana.com. in an interview.
Though she was heartbroken during those trying moments, she believes it did her a lot of good.
“It was not easy for me, I was lonely but it gave me enough time to think about my career and I was able to write about a lot of things.”
