Ghanaian Highlife musician Adane Best has announced that he has forgiven Kuami Eugene following previous allegations of copyright infringement.

It could be recalled that as far back as 2018 and 2020, Adane Best had claimed that Kuami Eugene's songs were inspired by his original works.

In an interview on Asempa Showbiz Review, while reflecting on their past issues, the 'Wo Bre Na Wenya' hitmaker claimed that the Kuami Eugene usually used melodies from his songs but added that he has decided to let the matter rest.

"If you know music, you can tell that most of the melodies he used were from my songs. I can prove it, but that's not important now. It's an old issue, and I don't want to dwell on it," he said.

"I have forgiven him. I have wronged others before, so when someone wrongs me, like Kuami Eugene, I let it go," he added.

Adane Best, whose real name is Joseph Amoah, acknowledged Kuami Eugene's success in the music industry but advised the Lynx Entertainment artiste to continue learning and growing in his craft.

"Kuami Eugene is good, very, very good, and I commend him. But he should keep learning. That's how it's done. He doesn't have to think he knows it all," he remarked.
