Paulina Oduro, a musician and an actress
Veteran musician and actress, Paulina Oduro has commented on her earnings from the movie industry. She releaved that despite playing active roles and featuring in over 100 movies, she has not earned much.
The judge on TV3’s reality show, Talented Kids told Sammy Flex, host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM that, for a long time, producers took advantage of her.
“My venture in movies have not paid. Certain people took advantage of my time yet, they failed to pay for my services”, she expressed.
Paulina fumed over the disregard Ghanaian producers have shown to an elderly woman like herself throughout her years in the industry.
She said, “it is rude that you call an elderly person like myself for a movie and when it’s time to pay, I have to chase you.”
The “Osode” singer expressed her distaste more saying, “there are some producers that I could kill, if they ever call me for a role”.
According to her, no actor or actress in Ghana can boast of making a good living solely based on acting.
Over the years, Paulina Oduro has released several songs, including “Nkye Mewo Bi”, “Woman Power”, “Killer Lover”, “Abusua” and many more.
She is currently promoting her most recent release, titled, “Let Me Be Me”
