2016 VGMAs nominee, Donzy Chaka, ‘the crusade’ hitmaker has disclosed that he has already written down his VGMAs acceptance speech even weeks to the event proper.
According to him, it’s been long overdue, and since he has gotten whopping three nominations, he can’t just stop thanking God because he has suffered.
He added that he was even rehearsing how he will walk on the VGMAs red carpet come 7th of May.
In an interview with Sammy Flex on Pluzz Fm, when asked about his chances of at least picking up a nod at this year’s VGMAs, he said,
“I’m very sure whatever the case is I’m winning, at least, one category. I’ve even written done my VGMAs acceptance speech. Last year, I wasn’t at the VGMAs because I wanted to see how when you get to the red carpet, how you would walk, how you would talk and more. Indeed, I’ve already written down my speech.” He disclosed.
When asked whether his popularity has shot up after grabbing three nominations at this year’s VGMAs, he said yes, “My popularity has indeed shot up. I go to places, and I can’t even hide anymore.” He ended.
Donzy added that he is appealing to all and sundry to please do well to vote him win at least the New Artiste of the year nod come the 7th of May.
