She explained that “The whole writing ‘Like Dat’ and how I received praise and backlash. In the first place, I wasn’t even doing it for praise. I was just excited that in my lifetime, I have been able to do something that has challenged me and that has made me grow which is writing for one of the greatest artistes in Africa. It was a big deal for me and it was something I was very proud of myself for, so I tweeted it and some people took it badly and some people took it wrong but nevertheless.”

“Nigerian industry we still have a long way to go in terms of writers and us being able to come out and say this is what we have done and I feel like we will get there someday. I feel like most artistes because of the mentality of the people, they think if you have a songwriter then that means you are not good but that’s not true because I have read books that have four authors, two heads are better than one.

She took some time to amid smiles shares some fond thoughts about Davido suggesting she had a great time working with him.

“First of all I feel like he is the nicest guy, the guy is nice, he is calm, he is chill matter of fact he is like my brother, I can call him at any time and discuss and talk to him about personal issues. He is my boss but he is my guy,” she mentioned.
