Ghanaian dancehall musician Ebony, known in real life as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, has revealed that she has hopes of becoming like Barbadian singer Rihanna.
The Poison hit maker, speaking on AyekooAyekoo on Accra100.5FM hosted by Nana Romeo on Thursday June 8, said: “I have people that inspire me and people I look up to. I look up to Rihanna, I look up to Spice from Jamaica, I look up to Cynthia Morgan from Nigeria, and in Ghana I love Kaakie. Kaakie is my girl, she is my friend and everything.”
Ebony further told Nana Romeo that she has composed some gospel songs which she will release onto the market in due course.
“It is funny all of a sudden, everywhere I go, they ask me about gospel music. I have a gospel song but I haven’t released it yet,” she said.
