Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has stated that God speaks to hiplife-artiste-turned-pastor, Lord Kenya all the time about him quitting dancehall to do the work of God.

“I am a prophet from God. That’s how I see myself. Lord Kenya has been saying Shatta Wale will be a pastor. He is not lying. God is telling him every time in his dreams because I speak to God personally. And when I say things, they happen. I see things and I see them from God. So if people think they can play tricks on me… Sometimes don’t play cards. I know how smart people think they might be. But if you are smart, let it show in your pocket and bank account. Don’t be a dirty smart person,” he said on Pluzz FM’s AM Pluzz.

Lord Kenya some time ago said on Kasapa FM that he believes God will use Shatta Wale and other artistes to win souls.

“I wouldn’t be surprised to see Shatta Wale, Okyeame Kwame, Obour and Dr. Cryme doing the will of God because I have that feeling within. As a matter of fact, God uses total strangers to change lives of others so I strongly believe God will use them as well just as he is using me,” Lord Kenya said.

Shatta Wale’s comment came on the back of Bass Awards organisers nominating him and using his image on their poster without prior information. According to him, he contacted Solid Multimedia, organisers of the event to deal with him in a professional manner but to no avail.

“The people I know who do this Bass Awards every year were a family to me some time ago. So I decided to link Stip of Solid Multimedia to ask why they put my picture on a poster without informing me… We have issues here when your partner is threatening to kill me. So I want us to work professionally. He should put friendship aside. I told him they would have to pay before they do anything of that sort,” Shatta said.
