Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Michael Elliot Kwabena, known in showbiz as Obrafuor, has stated that he is looking forward to collaborating with Okyeame Kwame on his new album.

In 2010, the two had a media scuffle after Obrafuor featured Guru on a track titled ‘Kasiebo’ which made reference to a certain ‘OK’, the abbreviation of ‘Okyeame Kwame’, who, according to the song, was accused of defilement.

That particular line, coupled with another line in the same song that detailed a certain rapper claiming to be the best alive but who cannot boast of five albums, sparked the rift between the two hiplife artistes.

However, speaking in an interview with Nana Kwesi Asare on The Big Show on Class91.3FM on Saturday, 16 March 2019, the ‘Kasiebo’ hitmaker said there is no bad blood between the two of them, adding that he apologised to Okyeame Kwame and now looking forward to collaborating with him on his new project.

“There is nothing, even I remember after the ‘Kasiebo’ song, I went to Kwame and I pleaded with him if I did anything to hurt his reputation, then I’m sorry, he should let go and I think he was positive, so, there is nothing at all, trust me”.

“In the good book [the Bible], I read the Twi Bible a lot, so, my quotes are in Twi, the Bible says: “If we can, we should live with people in peace”. “That is the main reason why I went to see my brother to let all these things go”.

“I am looking forward to collaborating with Okyeame Kwame on my new project, definitely it will happen, it is not beyond good”, he stated
