She may be relatively new on the Ghana movie scene but actress Princess Shyngle is bent on gaining mainstream appreciation as fast as she can.
Her serial promo photo shoots have won her some fan appeal, and built into a career that gets exciting by the day.
But the fine-looking well-contoured Gambian-Ghanaian tells Livefmghana.com that she’s had to contend with fending off advances from men who see her as a ‘sex object’
“I do not take pictures or choose costumes that showcase my curves to get the attention of men; I do that because I am comfortable in my skin. Moreover I am a fun loving person, I do take pictures just to have fun.
"I don’t care what people think, if posing in a bikini or wearing anything that will project my curves is what will make people think that I am a bad girl then there is little I can do about it. I am not bothered. After all people will always talk and I cannot control what people think or will think.
“My mom loves it, people around me who know I am not a bad girl, they love my picture poses and they are those that matter so I am not bothered about how people see me. I do not care what people think.”
Touching on her recent Bikini shoot, she said: “I did those shoots because a young designer who is about my age approached me to do it. I bought into the idea because, I was happy that a young fellow was dong such an amazing job.”
Shyngle moved to Ghana years ago to chase a career in film making. That dream has been achieved fairly.
