A-list actress and producer, Kafui Danku was on ‘The Delay Show’ this past Friday and as expected of Delay, she asked her questions pertaining to her husband and love life.
Well, that bit of the interview is not the focus of this blog post, so we would leave that for those who want to get details to watch the video we have attached below.
Kafui Danku disclosed in the interview that, she gets auditioned by the directors for her movies and only plays the lead role when she fits in.
She cited her last movie ‘Any Other Monday’ as one of the movies she did not play the lead role but rather the supporting role because Yvonne Nelson was more fit for that role.
When questioned by Delay if she makes profits from her movies, she revealed that, she does not make huge profits like she expects when she produces a movie and that it is the desire to tell stories, that keeps her going.
She mentioned that, there are times, they break even and at times they run at a loss. She continued to say that, when she makes profits, they are not huge as she expected.
“I am passionate about telling stories and I am hopeful that with time and maybe more of hard work, a time will come when we will make more profits”
When Delay questioned her if the reason has gotten to do with productions, she answered that, it’s not about the production but rather the systems in place and that it’s something other producers have complained about.
