I’m not walking in my father’s shadows - Nana Yaa

The daughter of Highlife legend Pat Thomas, Nana Yaa, says she is not walking in the shadows of her father.

The singer in an interview explained that her craft was completely different from that of her father.

“If I was walking in the shadows of my father, I am sure by now I will be doing exactly what he does but that is not the case.

“Don’t forget I am from a family of great musicians so the music influence is huge and yes, my father’s traits is in me but I am not very different from Pat Thomas.”

Nana Yaa is set to release her new single titled ‘E go be’ on September 22.
