MOBO award winner Samini has broken silence on his relationship with his fans in the ghettos.

Samini was recently revealed in an interview with Fiifi Selah that he is aware he is not well accepted in the ghettos due to his background and where he grew up.

The self-acclaimed “African dancehall king” stated that in as much as he is not welcomed in the ghettos he is also well accepted in Dansoman and other communities where he as youngster started his music career.

He went on to say that though he visited their family house back in Nima when was much younger he didn’t get along with people there because his stay there was very short.

The High-Grade boss added that he is glad he has been able to impact some lives in the areas he is well accepted.

Nima is a suburb in Accra where dance hall music is highly patronized and has given rise to a lot of dance hall artists over the years.

Samini is currently on a media tour promoting his newest album Breaking News.
