Becca and Kiki Banson
Singer Becca in 2015 said goodbye to her former management, EKB records headed by Kiki Banson after ten years of working with the record label.
After the two cut ties, there was an allegation that the two could not continue due to a relationship gone bad but both denied it vehemently. The two said they went their separate ways because their contract ended.
One question many asked after their breakup was if Becca could make it without Kiki after working with him for ten years. Becca has for the past months released several songs, which to many have not hit the platinum like her previous works released under EKB Records, her former management.
To these people, the Becca brand is going down but the “Daa Ke Da” singer thinks otherwise. She told Hitz FM’s Mzgee that she is doing very well without Kiki Banson.
According to Becca Acheampong, her current management is doing more than enough to make her career soar higher. She lionized her former management for what they taught her when she was with them.
“Not at all, If I was struggling, “Wh3? wouldn’t be a beautiful hit. My former management really embedded good and possible things in me. He taught me a lot so in my recent management now, I’m like a manager and an artiste because I’m always thinking ahead of time and that is what my former management taught me.
There are certain times I definitely miss my former management because there are certain things that must be done in a certain way and I know he could have done it better. I have a new management now are marvelous and doing amazing. We still communicate with my former management as will when we need to.
I speak to Kiki Banson all the time. I have meetings with him all the time when I must” Becca answered Mzgee when she asked if she is struggling without Kiki Banson.
