Rising Nigerian artiste, Victor AD who caught the attention of music lovers across Africa with his hit song ‘Wetin We Gain’ says he is planning to work with Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and dancehall artiste Shatta Wale as part of his international collaborations.

The winner of the 3music awards International Act of the Year made this known at a meet and greet gathering which was held at the Cockpit bar and lounge at the Achimota Mall, on Friday, April 5, 2019.

In an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb, the Nigerian sensation revealed that so far, he has done some collaborations with Kuami Eugene, Sister Afia, Teeplow, Keeny Ice and several others.

As part of his long term projects, he added, he is working on doing a few more collaborations with Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

“I’ve done several collaborations with Ghanaian artistes like Kwame Eugene, Sister Afia, Teeplow, Keeny Ice and the rest of them. I’m planning to work with Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, that aside, I’m starting my Europe tour on 26th April.”

He also noted that he isn’t particularly interested in satisfying the millions of people who enjoy his music but the few people who actually value him for who he is.

“I’m not concerned about the millions of people who are feeling me, I’m only concerned about the few ones who are actually feeling me. I draw them close and get interactive sessions with them like this one...I just satisfy my customers.”

Commenting on the growing competition in the Ghanaian and Nigerian music industries, Vitor AD said he is not “in competition with anybody,” because he does not see any competition.

“I just believe that doing a good music is going to break through any day, anytime...it’s just being real to myself and doing good music, that’s what I’m all about,” he said.
