After dominating the local gospel music industry with scintillating and soothing music for a decade, the multi-talented gospel musician, Evangelist Diana Asamoah, says she is still single and waiting on God for her soul mate.
The renowned gospel singer, who is dedicated to spreading the gospel of God through evangelism and powerful song ministration, said “I will marry, but it will depend on God. I am still praying to God to get me a God-fearing man to marry. I’m going to save myself for the one that I get married to”.
Speaking to 'Beatwaves' in an interview the gospel singer disclosed she is not worried being single because she believes very soon the good God she worships will choose a partner for her.
“God works in mysterious ways so I’m relying on him to choose a partner for me. I know my good Lord will answer my prayers very soon,” she said.
Diana Asamoah who is credited with award-winning songs like ‘M’abo wo din’, ‘Akoko abon’, ‘Woda mu fua’, ‘Pentecost’ among others, stressed that she is not in the gospel music industry to compete with anybody but to promote the work of God.
She told 'Beatwaves' that her latest gospel album titled ‘Pentecost Osoree Nwom’ which would be released soon on the music market will set the standard for gospel music in Ghana.
She said her latest album is a compilation of soul-touching melodies and good danceable tunes. The lyrics of the album and her good vocal power are neatly arranged with sensational and inspirational rhythms, making the album unique and pleasing to the ear.
Besides singing and preaching the word of God,E Diana Asamoah also works as radio presenter at Rainbow Radio in Accra and Angel FM in Kumasi where she preaches at dawn and also plays inspiring gospel music and ministers to listeners.
The silky-voiced gospel artiste said “I am a soul winner. I sing to win souls for Christ and educate people about the teachings of Christ through music.”
Recently Evangelist Diana Asamoah toured Europe and America to spread the word of God through live musical performances. Her presence in Europe and America paved the way for her to interact with certain well-known gospel icons and personalities.
“I toured Europe for three months and spent five months touring United States of America. In the States I preached and performed in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Ohio, Dallas among others. I performed in churches like Pentecost, Methodist, Presbyterian and a few others.”
She was the toast of the audience at the various towns and cities she visited in Europe and America during her tour.
