Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei who released a one cast movie titled ‘Last Night’ has stated that he is the first ever Ghanaian to do a one cast movie which has pushed another actor Slocomb Francis Jamal to also clear the air that he rather was the first to introduce a one cast.

Speaking on AM Pluzz morning show on Pluzz 89.9FM the actor of ‘It Hurts’ Slocomb Francis Jamal who has featured in quiet a number of Ghanaian and Nigerian films, made it known that he was the first to do a one cast short movie called ‘It hurts’ which he released on the 18th of July 2015.

The movie talks about how the behavior of parents are affecting children before Prince David Osei released his.

“I was the first to do a short film of one cast, I hadn’t seen any other one cast film before the release of my one cast movie.

I didn’t know of any other actor with another one cast but after I learnt that some other Ghanaian has also done it.

This is something that wasn’t commercial but just for people to watch and learn from, it hurts to see people going through a lot of emotional trauma” Francis stated.

To ensure that we have a clear mind of who indeed was the first Ghanaian to do a one cast movie and for history sake, the show host Sammy Flex got the chance to speak to the famous actor Prince Osei, who also clearly made it known that what he did cannot be compared to others and that he is still the first to do a one cast film ‘Last Night’.

According to Flexgh.com Prince said;

“It`s funny how people love to take recognition over some things, mine is a feature film of 90minutes, a film itself and not a short film or experimental film.

This is a film that is showing on cinemas Accra mall, West Hill mall, on U -tube and all that, everyone can do a one cast movie but this one is accredited and for the whole 90 minutes, you don’t see any other actor aside me.

I am not in to condemn his talent but I am still the first to do a one cast movie, I remain undisputed.”

He also made known that, he premiered the movie on the 21st of August 2015 which had a massive turn out from actors from Nigeria, Ghana, Stephen Appiah and many others and people commended his act and applauded him for the good job done which no other Ghanaian has ever done.
