Ghanaian highlife artiste, Ronald Kweku Dei Appiah, aka Bisa Kdei has responded to criticisms about him being irrelevant in the music industry.
According to the “Brother Brother” music fame, it takes time to produce a classic song; so he will not allow himself to be pressured into releasing substandard songs.
He added the most celebrated high-life artistes don’t rush to release songs frequently, but take all the time needed to come out with a good song; that is why their music are classic.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Radio Central he said, “Ghanaians should stop saying that Im’ becoming irrelevant. it’s not a good thing to compare new artistes to old ones. Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, Amakye Dede have been there for all these years, did they face the same problem during their time?
“Some of them haven’t released songs, but they play shows. I’m doing my part to push high life, it took me two years to come up with my new album so I will never accept that I’m fading”.
