Finally, the most venerated Ghanaian rapper of all time, Sarkodie, has let out a response to the cacophony that made the rounds about his treatment of Nigerian songstress, Yemi Alade – www.entertainmentgh.com can report.

As captured by Hitz FM’s ‘Entertainement News’, the ‘Glory’ purveyor, addressed the issue with UK-based Nkosuo TV and stated that he’s overburdened with lots of work and cannot readily recollect every work or collaborative joint he’s done.

Sarkodie asserted that he’s not received, seen or heard any complaints from Yemi Alade or her camp, albeit seeing and reading reports about the situation.

The artist, who is open to collaborations and has done a deluge of them, both local and international – stated that he may not remember any work he’s done with Yemi Alade.

He went on to say that, the issue is quite murky and he would rather wrap his tour, get back home, assess the issue, before he would offer a tangible rebuttal.

Sarkodie embarked on a successful UK nationwide ‘Highest’ tour in November, with some special guests including Big Narstie, Jayso, Moelogo, Bobii Lewis and Suli Breaks plus Sarkcess Music signees, Akwaboah and Strongman.

The tour which was presented by Sarkcess Music and Dice Recordings, in conjunction with Live Nation, GoldenVoice and Echo Location – followed the successful release of his fifth studio album ‘Highest’ which dominated iTunes album charts around the world

The tour saw the legendary Ghanaian rap star headline the O2 Institute in Birmingham before heading to London to headline the O2 Forum Kentish Town on November 24, and rounded up the tour in Manchester, headlining Academy 2 over the weekend.
