I nearly aborted DJ Switch when I conceived her – Mother

Mother of Ghana’s youngest DJ, DJ Switch has disclosed that she considered having an abortion while she was pregnant with her daughter.

She remorsefully said on Zylofon 102.1 FM’s Showbiz Agenda that had she known her daughter would have turned out successful, the thought will not have crossed her mind.

“I almost aborted her. I actually went ahead to purchase the drug to terminate the pregnancy but I changed my mind later on”, she said.

According to her, she realized she was with another child six months after having her first child and could not bear the stigma.

“I was the talk of town. Everybody was pointing fingers at me because I had just graduated and in less than two years, was going to be a mother of two”, she added.

However, she expressed her joy in the fact that she restrained from the act and, now her daughter is the most popular young DJ in the country.
