Ace veteran actor,William Addo aka "Akpatse" has disclosed again that he needs an additional GHC5,000.00 to undergo another surgery on his right eye.
Willian Addo,a month ago told Hitz Fm that he was gradually losing his sight as a result of glaucoma and cataract thus he needed GHC5,000.00 for immediate surgery or would lose his sight through which benevolent people like Kwame Sefa,Bola Ray,Brian Amoateng etc donated the said amount and had a successful surgery on his left eye on Thursday 7th April 2016.
Speaking to Dr.Who on Hot and classic showbiz review on Accra based Hot 93,9fm,the veteran actor explained why he needs another GHC5,000.00 for the next surgery:
"Dr.Who,I first of all thank those who helped me with the first surgery.Glaucoma and cataract affect both eyes... when I said I needed GHC5,000.00 it was meant for one eye .Now I need another GHC5,000 to undergo the second surgery which would be on my right eye at the inter-star eye clinic and laser centre in Osu near the old American Embassy...so I needed Ghc10,000.00 for both surgeries",Willian Addo explained vigorously to Dr.Who.
He added that he is currently responding to treatment and scheduled to undergo a third review on his left eye in two weeks time which would ascertain the date for the second surgery .
