Popular Ghanaian actress Rose Mensah, aka Kyeiwaa, has called on her fans and all well-meaning Ghanaians to remember her in prayers, especially in these times she finds herself in the news over marriage blues.
“Very soon, I will come out and tell the whole story about what happened and how it happened. I know many of my fans and people I work with in this filmmaking business are overwhelmed by the several reports about my marriage; but I don’t want my fans and people I work with to get disappointed or give up on me.
“All I ask from you and my fans and Ghanaians are your prayers and support for me during these times. Remember me in your prayers and I can assure you prayers would make every trouble turn into peace. And the moment things get calm, I will tell you the story on my heart,” Kyeiwaa told NEWS-ONE from her Kumasi base on Thursday.
She was speaking to the paper not long after winning the Best Indigenous Actress at the 2015 City People Entertainment Awards.
“All I can say is that I thank all my fans for the love so far. They have supported me by buying my movies and making me popular and I know they won’t let me down in these difficult times.
“I am happy I won. It would make people write good things about me and it would challenge me to work harder and come out with better films. I thank God for it and I thank all my fans and people who have worked with me to bring me this far,” Kyeiwaa added.
The newly married actress has been in the news recently after reports that the man she married already has a wife.
