The man at the center of the drama on the paternity of Nana Aba’s son, Paa Kow, Osebo Richard Brown has launched a self-defense stating that contrary to all public allegations of irresponsibility on his part, he paid the school fees of Nana Aba Anamoah when she enrolled in a UK school to further her studies.
In the audio recorded during his first radio interview on the matter, Osebo, as he is called, revealed to CJ, host of Accra FM’s morning show, that contrary to reports that he neglected his son all this while, he was rather barred from seeing the boy.
According to Osebo, Nana Aba Anamoah forbade him from seeing his son because he refused to give her money to pay her tuition fees in the UK years ago at a time the boy’s school fees was still unpaid.
According to him, Nana Aba felt her fees was more important than his son’s but he chose to pay his son’s first before hers. He said his decision to pay the boy’s fees and postpone that of Nana Aba to the next week infuriated her and she asked him not to contact her or the son again.
Since that time, he said, he has had to even give gifts to the son through others pretending they bought it before Nana Aba allows the son to accept it.
While Nana Aba herself has refused to publicly comment on the issue, her close friend who spoke to MyNewsGh.vom alleged that Osebo refused to accept the pregnancy when it happened. Osebo has debunked that version of events.
