I promise to help up & coming artistes to get the needed mileage – Sarkodie

The Christian Bible according to Ecclesiastes abridge the human journey called life to the theme dubbed “CHANCE”.

To the ecclesiastic, if you’re in the limelight today, chance made it possible so as the person at the bottom of life has not yet had an encounter with what’s called chance.

So, it has become good news especially to up and coming artistes in Ghana in reference to what rapper Sarkodie, the most awarded rapper in Africa, has said today. According to Sarkodie, he has come into realization the problems up and coming artistes do encounter in their quest to make their craft appealing to the public.

Therefore, in a Facebook post today, January 16, 2018, the rapper has promised to use his influence in the music industry to help push the young ones as best as he can. He posted via Facebook:

"Great Talents here in Ghana and just wish y’all could get the support and platforms needed to show that incredible God given Gifts to the world… I promise to do the little I can to help

Till then …a little advice to the young ones : Make sure you put back every penny into your craft … if it will take you 8 shows to pay for one video, do so!!! Don’t cheat the game or you will fail"

Certainly, this is good news to all up and coming artistes especially the serious ones in the rap game. However, it’s our fervent hope that this won’t be a ‘loose talk’ taking into consideration Ghanaian wishful thinking attitude.
