Ghanaian high life musician, KK Fosu has stated his regret for not helping fastest rapper, Sarkodie when the latter needed help.
According to KK in an interview with DJ Premiere on Accra FM over the weekend, soo many artistes through him have been able to see the limelight today but one person he still regrets not helping him in his able days is the BET award winner.
He said it was through him that artistes like Akwaboa, D-Flex, Koo The Boy, etc. have seen the light of the day.
"I knew Sarkodie when he was a little boy. His sister, Kyeiwaa was then my friend. Sarkodie in those days was poised for making music, but one thing was that he was in school and again not up to the task because we were hot like he's now. His sister was all the time calling on us to help his brother, but he was not regular at home because of schooling. That's one thing I regret. I wish I had brought Sarkodie to the limelight. Anyway, thanks to Dr. Duncan for showing him to the world."
He, however, advised his fellow musicians to help the upcoming generations since no one knows what the future holds.
KK Fosu is one of the oldest contemporary high life musicians in Ghana, talking about his days with Ofori Amponsah, Reggie Rockstone, Kofi Nti, Kofi B among others who were all part of the rulers of Ghana music then.
