Kontihene, also known as Nana Appiah, has stated that he’s regretted for and find it very stupid of him to put his career on hold to promote Kwabena Kwabena with all his energies which he earned nothing from.
The ‘Asesa’ hitmaker, who was on the Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on February 4, 2019 show to promote his new song, ‘Tricks’ made made this revelation when addressing the issue of whether he has any disappointment or regret in the music industry.
He explained that he at a point in his music career wanted to build an empire by helping the up and coming artistes with great talents. This was when Kwabena Kwabena of ‘Aso’ fame came to him and he, Kontihene, realising the former’s great talent decided to commit his all into helping build Kwabena Kwabena up and practically putting on hold his own music career.
He, with some bitterness continued that eventually, all his energies invested went to waste as though he succeeded in bringing up Kwabena Kwabena but earned nothing out of it. He also added that most of the songs on the ‘Aso’ album have his strong hands in them especially the ‘Aso’ track itself.
He, however, concluded that he’s won’t try to help any other musician again as he’s learnt his lessons.
Meanwhile, his answer has always been “cool” whenever someone asks of the “Tokuro Abodwese” hitmaker from him.
Kontihene in another breath accused radio presenters including Andy Dosty and Prince Tsegah of wickedness and even at a point intended to sue the two named presenters.
