Controversial Ghanaian actress, Joyce Boakye
Actress, Joyce Boakye, has expressed regret over certain actions from her past.
In an interview with ZionFelix, Joyce reflected on some of her past behaviour and noted that there are things she would handle differently today.
Although she has engaged in social media fights with some individuals, Joyce Boakye clarified that she is not disrespectful in nature.
According to her, she was provoked into reacting the way she did.
Aside from her responses to those who treated her poorly, Joyce said she does not recall disrespecting anyone on social media.
She also opened up on her conflicts with the likes of Mona Gucci and Tracey Boakye, noting that her dispute with Tracey for instance, was a typical argument although it was amplified online.
"I have regretted some of my past actions. Look at the bad name I've ended up creating for myself. It's because I was influenced by certain people. I was compelled to respond to every comment about me.
"I am not a bad person, I am very respectful but sometimes these people push you to the wall. I pray that God forgives me. I will also take this opportunity to plead forgiveness from anybody I've wronged," She stated.
It can be recalled that Joyce Boakye trended on social media sometime in April 2023, after she made scathing allegations about herself and some Ghanaian celebrities in an interview with Delay.
Prior to that, purported leaked chats between her and Asamoah Gyan went viral, in which Gyan allegedly tried to convince her to have an affair.
This was during her fierce fight with TV presenter Mona Gucci on social media.
