I rejected a collaboration deal from Wizkid – Dennio Dehero

Fast-rising Ghanaian music star Dennio tells a story of why he rejected a collaboration deal from wizkid, The music singer who has been doing music for a decade, a well-accepted Accra based artiste who has a strong fan based in Accra and his community Lashibi as well claims he wasn’t in a rush to do a collaboration with wizkid even when a close friend of wizkid gave him the opportunity.

According to Denio, The downfall of many music artists is because they put their confidence in other artistes too much, He explains, sometimes it a wrong match to even collaborate with the world best musician when he or she doesn’t suet the music.

He added, I was really excited though when wizkid accepted we should do something but with no disrespected i intentionally called it off, People will ask why? and it because more over my My Baby song was originally accepted by my Ghana people, It had good airplay, and I wanted to prove a point that I can possibly make it better by myself and wouldn’t need an international expect to polish it.

He concluded I will never go hunting for international collaboration when i have not even done features with the top artiste from my country, meanwhile, im still hoping to do something with Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
