Ghanaian award-winning hiphop artiste, Teephlow has apologized to colleague musicians Sarkodie and Strongman for his comment undervaluing their music talents.

The Fante Rapper has declared that he respects the struggle of both talented musicians.

Reacting to his unfortunate tweet, a direct message to Sarkodie and Strongman, Teephlow revealed he had no bad intentions while sending the tweet and therefore meant no disrespect to anyone in particular.

His tweet read: “When two heads come together to shut one person… And dey end up being shut down.”

There was a lot of responses from people on social media where it was assumed that the “two heads” Teephlow was referring to might allegedly be Sarkodie and Strongman who were both still under the SarkCess Music record label at the time.

Teephlow, however, said he was speaking in general terms and thus he was in no way targeting these very two, especially because he really respects what they do and blamed the misinterpretation of his tweet to the time at which he posted it.

“I think the whole issue was with the timing. Sometimes I feel like you can put something out there that is plain speech and it’s realistic. Because what I am saying is fact. If God wants to put you there, they can bring a thousand and they will all fall,” Teephlow said on Freestyle live on Zylofon TV

Teephlow apologized to his fans and everyone in general who might have misunderstood his words and especially rendered official apologies to both Sarkodie and Strongman.

“I really want to use this medium to send out apologies to everybody who felt disrespected in that way because I don’t want to disrespect anybody’s brand at all. And I don’t have no plans whatsoever in doing that.”

“I respect everybody. I respect Sark’s hustle a lot and I respect Strongman’s hustle a lot.” He added

Although there has been some sort of rivalry between Teephlow and Strongman after the ‘Next Big Thing in GH Hip-Hop’ reality show ended in 2012 which strongman triumphed over Teephlow, the strife between these two artistes seems to be calming down gradually.
