Film critic, radio panelist and editor of Gh Movie Freak, Tony Asankomah has stated that, his entry into the film industry as a critic saved the Ghana Film Industry from dying.

Tony Asankomah has reviewed several Ghanaian films which includes popular Keteke movie, P Over D, The New Adabraka, SideChic Gang, Interception and many more films.

He wrote:

"4 years ago I saved Ghana’s film industry from dying ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? and I promise to keep it alive ?????????????

Recently, Ghanaian rap artiste Medikal real name Samuel Adu Frimpong also made a shocking statement about Ghana’s rap music.

The ‘omo ada’ hitmaker has said that he saved Ghanaian rap music from dying four years ago. The Rapper of the year at the 20th edition of the Ghana Music Awards in a tweet zionfelix.net read boldly made it known that he has since 2015 been making rap music lively in the country led by Nana Addo.
