Gospel Ghanaian musician, Perez Musik, has revealed that he used to smoke, and that he did that for 11 years.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, the "Hewale Lala" hitmaker noted that he began smoking as a teenager.
According to him, his interest in smoking began when he was in Senior High School.
"The first time I touched cigarettes was when I was in senior high school. I remember it very well because it happened at Indigo, and I did that for 11 years," he said.
Earlier in the interview, Perez Musik indicated that he found out that a fellow industry player was having an affair with his then-girlfriend.
The singer stated that the news hit him so badly that he ended up giving his life to Christ.
"Somebody in the industry was hitting on my girlfriend. I met him with my girlfriend one time and when I turned my back, he took her number. So, one day, I took his phone to call someone, and that was when I got to know he was having an affair with my girlfriend," he explained.
Perez Musik is a gospel musician who has several songs to his credit.
His well-known hit song "Hewale Lala" currently has over 2 million views on YouTube after winning the 24th TGMA for Songwriter of the Year and Best Male Vocal Performance awards.
