Sonnie Badu has revealed that it was not all rosy when he sought to break through as a gospel musician.
In an uplifting message on his IG page the popular music act cum gospel minister disclosed how he couldn’t even get one sponsor to support him financially to launch his album or even offer him exposure.
“I never had anyone build a platform for me to stand on every week so the world can hear about my gift. I never had any sponsors to foot the bill for an entire album.
“My journey to where I am now has purely been by the hand of God. He has kept me against all odds and lifted me up to Glorify His name,” he said
In his bid to appreciate God for his success, he encouraged individuals to consider him a testimony of God’s turn around in people’s lives.
“When I tell you God will do it for you, please believe me for I am a living testimony,” he assured believers.
