Outspoken entertainment pundit cum artiste manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bullgod, has opened up on his allegiance to the NDC.
During an episode of UTV’s U Cook, hosted by gospel singer Empress Gifty, Bullgod openly declared his strong support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), emphasising that his allegiance isn't driven by personal benefits.
When asked whether financial incentives influenced his political alignment with the NDC, Bullgod laughed off the assertion, stating; “I don’t need anyone to pay me to speak the truth. I support the NDC because they deliver results, not because of money.”
Also, Bullgod was asked about his consistent criticisms of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and he responded, “It’s not about bitterness or personal vendettas. I support the NDC because, under Mahama’s leadership, we saw tangible results; solid infrastructure, good policies, and real progress.”
Bullgod also addressed the ongoing debate surrounding the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy, which the NPP often cited as one of its major achievements.
“Let’s set the record straight. The Free SHS initiative didn’t start with the NPP. Mahama laid the foundation before leaving office. They merely implemented it. The credit belongs to the NDC,” he retorted.
