Michael Kwaku Ola, former Public Relations Officer of Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) has expressed utmost disappointment in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary Candidate for the Awutu Senya West constituency, George Andah following a statement the politician made about Honorable Hannah Tetteh.

Mr Andah was reported to have thrown an open challenge to his main opponent and incumbent Member of Parliament, Hanna Tetteh to introduce her husband to the constituents.

Citifmonline.com reports that Mr Andah at a mini rally at Bawjiase in the Central region invited his wife to the stage and introduced her to the party supporters; who had gathered at the rally amidst cheers and applauds.

“I came here with my wife, and children. Please tell Hanna to also come and show us her husband,” he said.

But Ola is of the view that such a comment should not come from a man of his caliber.

“I believe that is for the low minds to do and ‘not a matured, well supposed to be’ minds,” he told abrantepa.com.

This was moments after he posted on Facebook.

“HELLO GEORGE ANDAH, or something something. I don’t have much to tell you but just his quote: ”Small MINDS, discuss people, middle minds discuss Events, but matured minds discuss issues”. See where you fit Sir. I thought very high of you but should I be surprised? nay!

Meanwhile, Mr Andah has explained that his decision to introduce his wife to the audience was not to attack Hannah Tetteh but to dispel reports of his ‘irresponsibility’.

“I didn’t say that she has a husband or she didn’t have a husband. I showed my wife, there are issues going on that I am irresponsible and all I said was that I come to the constituency with my wife and kids… So if I bring Nana Addo to Bawjiase and I ask you to bring John Mahama to Bawjiase, will that be something we should say that I should apologize for? All I said was this is my wife, where is your husband?,” he said in a video.

Mr. Andah, a respected marketer seeking to unseat Hanna Tetteh who also serves as Ghana’s Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Minister.
