She was not on a life support machine, in which case he would have had the option of asking the doctors to take her off to give her a ‘peaceful rest’, it was in their home and on their marital bed, he tried to kill his wife and ‘end it all’.

His wife was very ill, doctors had almost given up on her and had started preparing the family for a possible death.

He was caring for her but he needed sexual satisfaction, and when her close friend ‘presented’ herself, he didn’t refuse, this is the story of a now distraught husband who took to Relationship Expert, David Papa Mbondzie to seek for advice.

The man, whose identity has been concealed narrated,

“My wife fell very ill for almost a year and the doctors started preparing our minds for the possibility of death. My wife’s family was briefed also by the doctors to consider laying her to rest last year. We brought her home and my mother-in-law joined us to herlp care for her and our children.”

“I started seeking sexual satisfaction from one of her friends who is single and was consoling me. I fell in love with her with the hope of not being alone if my wife died. My wife was suffering and we couldn’t do anything physically intimate as a couple.” He continued. So, he tried to kill her in her sleep,

“One dawn, she was asleep and was crying in pain. I took my pillow to help put her out of the misery. I did the unimaginable and was hoping she would end it in her sleep but she woke up during my attempt on her and she fought me back to stay alive. She saw what I was trying to do and started screaming for help. Her mother came in and she collapsed. We rushed her to the hospital.” He narrated.

Confused as to what is happening, the man, whose wife’s current location still remains unknown to him after the incident is living everyday, with fear of the unknown.

“I still don’t know where my wife is and no one is telling me anything. I am told she is alive and getting well….Its been 4 months, no one has pressed any charges or accused me of anything yet,”he continued.
